<<How can Viagra remain on the market with so many deaths surrounding its use?>>

comeon blankmind!!!

By now you should know that big money and politics have been the agenda in the Viagra story and not public safety.

Pfizer still argues that Viagra was not the cause of these deaths but we all know otherwise.

If the FDA really cared about Viagra's safety they would pull the drug off the shelves first and ask questions later. How can you even justify the FDA not doing this until the questions surrounding Viagra questions are answered? Its not like Viagra is some type of life saving drug that should be given special consideration. In fact, Viagra should be put under more than average scrutiny since it is a lifestyle drug and since there are safer alternatives already available.

Any politician who crosses Pfizer can no longer count on political contributions. Pfizer controls the politicians with their big dollars and the politicians in turn control the higher ups at the FDA. And the higher ups at the FDA made sure that the medical advisers who questioned Viagra's safety profile were hushed up so that Viagra could get fast track approval. And then Pfizer used all its clout to make sure that the Viagra relabeling was worded in their favor to make sure that all statements were not overly critical towards Viagra and geared more towards blaming adverse effects on the stress of sex.
