Snerd: I use a PII 266 MHz as well, but not at home but am still looking forward to the new system. Your system is still relatively current, not a lot has changed except for the new 100 Mhz bus and faster processors. A few other things as well but I don't think things are moving quite as fast as they were before the PII line. I was waiting for the PII and 100 Mhz bus before diving in, just waited a bit longer than I expected to finally order it.

I finally decided that with a good year so far in trading, that I deserved it and that I had waited long enough. My last system that I purchased was a Gateway P90 (one of the first) with 16 Mb, 2 Mb Video card, 540 Mb HD, 15 " monitor, Soundblaster 16 and speakers.....I paid close to $4300 for it. ROFLMAO

It never ceases to amaze me.

TraderJ, Snerd: New system:

Popular Science has a new toy in the last issue. It's a screen that links via radiowave to your webtv or computer within 500 feet. It allows you to serf the web. You can hook up a mouse and keyboard to it if you like.

The leash is cut. Surf on the terrace? Trade on the porch?

Supposed to be out this summer for $350 or so.
