At that price I'll buy two and scrub the old ISA card on my CD changer. I wish I had gone dual channel instead of this EXPENSIVE Adaptec 2940U2W card. I think I would have more options with the dual channel as I do not have wide devices..all of my devices only configure with the 0 to 7 SCSI IDs. One IRQ and one PCI slot sounds like a major advantage over two SCSI cards to me. Zeuspaul

7200/5400 = 1.33, or 33% faster vs 17.4/13.3 = 1.31 or 31% higher density. Should stream data at roughly the same speed if same number of surfaces, which I don't know.) 1. Its 14.4 2. You can NOT compare raw capacity and claim to compare density. There could be a different # of heads and platters. Purely comparing total capacity trying to determine density is incorrect at best. Ru your sure you don't work in marketing??? :) Sean
