Skeeter, you can't knock people for making money trading. Buy it and put in a trailing stop. Let the market take you out. Frees your time, and allows you to make money. When the market gapped down on Weds., I bought Yhoo at home and sold it when I got to the office. I spent a total of 5 minutes to make 57 points.

A few months ago I would have said the same thing. The fact remains that many people made lots of money doing precisely that. Buying the fad before it becomes the fad is the trademark of some great investors. Selling the fad at it's peak is another!

Wouldn't you rather make money in a fad stock than lose money trying to short it? Yes of course!
