Hi TJ and everyone, hope everyone is having a great weekend.

I forced myself out of computer screen today and watched football and take the family out for a short trip. I am trying to cut down internet surfing and spend a bit more time with my family.

That is part of the reason I opened up myself and joined this thread.
Since many of you are bringing hot stuff to this thread, I can minimize lurking other threads. Many thanks to all of you.

TJ, great advice; I printed it and posted on the wall.

On IMON, I agree with you fully that it is not really important who posted it first. It's the team work and that's what it counts.

But I just wanted to give a small recognition to an individual who brought a stock idea which turned out to be a huge success. (I am sure IMON was probably mentioned first in TMEX or other thread, but I wanted to thank the person for bringing to this thread) I believe in giving a praise and proper recognition for the job well done.

I want to thank you for recognizing IMON's potential and took the action so the members can follow you. But for the record, I think Hoffy posted here first:

TJ, ALL: Thanks for the post. For me I know it'll be a big help and a great start in DD for the future. My education has grown considerably because of this thread. Thanks everyone!

Education is a possession of which man cannot be robbed. -unknown-

TraderJ:

Thank you so much for the DD information. I too have it printed and my "visual" self can rest a bit easier now that I can "see" what I am supposed to be looking for. It answers all the questions I had...so far.

Your DD analysis is full of clutter. The price chart IS the key to profit. If price is at or near bottom and insiders are buying-forget all the other useless information. Calling IR helps if answers are complete and non-evasive. Call GCHC at 212-935-0561 and find out why this company is a winner.

TJ/All: DD

When you say that the volatility of a security's price is largely dependent on the float; isn't it hard to generally quantify what a small float is.

For example: Wouldn't a security with a price of $10 with a float of 5 million be as volatile as a security with a price of $5 and a float of 10 million? An investor who would like to invest $50,000 would need to purchase 5000 and 10000 shares respectively and thus making causing the same affect to both prices.

Is this correct?
