I have noticed a lot of this "management" of prices lately. Walking a price up and down with 100 share lots in the direction of movement and several thousand shares in the opposite direction of movement.

I have also noticed what appear to be set-ups for big lots to cross with no movement in price, such as the 1,000,000 shares that crossed on BILL Friday (a stock that trades less that 1/4 of that on an average day). The price appears to have been not affected.

AT - I have seen where the MM's start walking a stock UP and DOWN just so they can make money rather than letting people buy and sell shares.

And how do you know that that is what is happening? I am not denying that it may be happening, but the fact that the price moves up and down on different volumes is not enough 'proof' in my book. We, as humans, tend to see patterns where none exist.
