Sir William,
I like your humble style, and I mean that sincerely. I don't challenge any of your figures as I have seen how it works for my portfolio when you keep moving in more margin money as stocks go up.

I started out an 18 month run prior to Oct 97, and my portfolio increased 9 times during that period (without Dell), only to take a dump of 2/3 in the sell-off that followed. (Right now I am back to the heights that I saw in Oct 97, so I am back on track). My guess is that you might have started with about 4 or 5 mil twelve months ago, during which time your portfolio increased 27.5 mil. Is that approx. correct?

You didn't give me a chance to contact you by email or private message, so I might just phone you. We live about 5 miles apart. I need to know where to get better margin rates.
rgds,
humble carl
