When I was in a neighborhood computer store last week, one of the customers told some of us that he was told that Compaq expected to sell out this year's production by sometime in February. He said that this was because of the Y2K problem and that his company was replacing all of their PCs this year to avoid the Y2K problem. I don't accept this as fact, but I would appreciate it if anyone hears anything about this--if you would please pass it along.
