mr. "President": Schwab's 50% requirement is not exactly 100%; do you think most major brokerage houses are going to put themselves out of business with a 100% requirement? There are probably companies out out there still with a 35% requirement for internet stocks. In any event, your short positions will get creamed this week; good luck on your dwindling bank account.

;-)...Yes but it worries me to see someone lose it like that, for all to see, and that he is in a stock which is popular to many here.

He acted like a wounded animal crying out in the forest and you know what that attention will get you. A gathering of wolves to feed on his carcass. Not a pretty sight and it doesn't bode well for the other longs in that stock.

That's why if you are worried about a position you have in a stock, it is best to not say anything or state facts to combat a short poster. Facts can destroy a short poster's argument and usually puts them on the defensive.

What was strange was that I was arguing over a whole sector as if it was one stock...that was weird!
