Sorry for all the questions that follow, but can someone help me out here?

While I understand the substance of it all, I am confused about the triggering source for all this talk about total deaths being the end point in determining when to halt the P-3. Was it Xoma or Murphy? If Xoma, was it Ellen or Castello? What was said by whom and when?

If Xoma is the source, how does it happen that we are just learning of this now rather than last September when the DSMB reviewed the data and agreed to meet again in December? If Murphy is the source, how does it happen that he gets this info and apparently no one else until such time as Murphy chooses to disclose it? (I won't ask the other question, which is if Murphy is the source is it perhaps the case that he got the word way back when he decided to sell his Xoma?)

I am not calling anybody. Let Opalapril or someone else do the heavy lifting for awhile. I'm going back to ten ten and listening in, good buddy.
