600 Mhz

It would not be typical for Intel to surprise like that. The clock speeds of Intel CPU's are usually well known months ahead of time.

But there is always a first time for everything!

Wow 600Mhz on .25u!!!!! And our AMD friends keep insisting the K7 will be faster on .25u than the PIII is on .18u. If it hits 600 on .25u imagine what it'll do on .18u !!!!!!!

Now I would call this a better source then "down at the pool".
