Lee, I'm not the one to ask. I would think that Bruce, Eric or Jan might know.

However, I've been correlating the bpnyse and 10-week changes with the McClellan oscillator and summation index. Last May, July and Dec corrections that were anticipated by P&F matched reversals in these two McClellan indicators. I watch McClellan daily.

Are you happy with your new system? What did you get? I remember reading about it, but forgot. Using WOW pro but want something else.

Lee, in addition to my last post - re the McClellan oscillator/summation indexes.

The short-term oscillator just turned up from a -150 low.
Typically, a rising oscillator will take from 1 1/2 to 3 weeks (assuming that it goes up to +150). And, it could stall out at the 0-line. That's where outside noise could influence this market, IMO.

However, the McClellan Summation index is still moving down, not confirming the bullish oscillator.

These indicators might also correlate w/others TA calling for end of January (after earnings) correction.

Saw that CJ responded pointing you to others. One of the reasons that it is difficult to do the NYSEBP on your own is that it is based on the compilation of the percent of stocks on the NYSE that are on P&F buy signals. To move the NYSEBP up it takes new buy signals, not just continuing buy signals. Of course a sell signal moves the NYSEBP in the other direction. The formula is to count the number of stocks that are on buy signals and divide it by the total number of stocks evaluated.

So unless you want to compile and chart all of the stocks on the NYSE it is cumbersome for the individual to generate the NYSEBP. Of course it can be done and I believe that Ben Antanaitis' program EZ-pnf will do this for you if you don't want to go to Dorsey's site.
