Thomas-
You echoed my sentiment exactly on many points in your message. Yes, valuation appears high, but a new upcycle appears to be underway. And yes, we tend to sell winners too soon. I'm looking at all those shares of RATL that I sold between $15 and $23 (still have a few share bought at $10), and I of course rue my selling decisions in some other companies as well. At any rate, my portfolio is improving in quality, but I still have a speculative edge to it.

Thread, I checked the Yahoo thread for LLTC today, just out of curiosity. There is speculation there that major news will break soon, like a business combination or merger of some kind as Swanson's health may be "fading"... I'd be sad if indeed LLTC would be bought out and dissapear. I like them just the way they are.

Anybody having any comments or sources in the field?

regards,
Thomas
