Just a comment on the selling of options to enhance the return of a portfolio or improve your purchase price position on a stock that has tanked on you. My experience has been (on repeated occasions) that my winners are taken away from me and my losers continue to be losers. I am not critical but over a period of many years there are some lessons to be learned and this is one of them.

It sounds good. but my experience tell me not to do it like that again. cuz if the price ended up at $14, you would kick your butt hard.
