Amigo,

My apologies, but I'm obsessing on the new highway bill. I understand it's now up to $216 billion over 6 years, from the previous 167 over 5.

So what's your take on TXI? They sell cement by the giga-ton in both California and Texas. Also structural steel, which seems to have hurt them because of cheap Asian imports. (About which the government is rattling sabres.)

Consequently, TXI is currently trading in the mid-20s, down from a 52-week high of 68 1/4.

I hear cement is already semi-hard to get w/o the highway bill, and understand that TXI shouldn't have to lower their margins. Can we expect $70 by summer, or will we have to wait another year?

Curious in San Antonio,

Bootz
