More nostalgia, this one being David Furstenberg's first HDIE posting, April 17, 1998, which is a response to a posting made by Starduster. The "diamond in the rough" has been refined somewhat since then. "I am hearing positive things are happening there and management has made extraordinary strides to grow the business, both in terms of revenue and earnings. I am taking a position and at this price, it can be a large one. Thanks for reminding me about this diamond in the rough."

Hale--- I leave for a few minutes to run to McDonalds and the thread runs amuck..too much time on our hands with the mkt closed. Even those working must be having a slow day... 2 sausage mcmuffin with egg (plus all the grease is free) for 2.22. They should advertise that instead of Metamusal! A closed mkt day and we are all in withdrawl-- the only thing is I still call my broker-- his voice has a calming effect. Yesterday afternoon he answered a question on HDIE block trades for me,, see I cannot make through a 2 damn day weekend,,,All the overseas mkts were up overnight-- now they get 2 days ahead of us... and we do not get their ride..
