"Just to let you all know that the availability of ANY junk silver LEGAL TENDER coinage"

I am a programmer with 20 years experience who has done some Y2K work. I work for a large Midwest retailer that runs Supercenters, grocery & general merchandise. We have been talking with other retailers and if you were to bring in silver dollars say, then we would only give you the face value of the coin, not any floating rate. There is no way we could handle it or accept it otherwise.

What do you plan on doing with these coins, selling them for a profit and then using the cash to make purchases? Because no retailer we work with will accept anything other than the face value of any legal tender coins and then only U.S. or in some of our stores Canadian coins.
