Spots,

Don't think so. I haven't read anywhere about this with respet to recent cards. The unnoficial Matrox page would be a good place to look.

Spots: nope, none. Note that the OEM g200 cards come in three flavors: 230 ramdac/SDRAM, 250/SDRAM, and 250/SGRAM. All retail versions are 250/SGRAM. I have experienced some instances where distributers who I respect felt mislead by Matrox RE what they were getting: in particular, folks who thought they had the 250/SDRAM part had the 230/SDRAM part.

The SDRAM version benches very marginally slower (which makes sense), and someone using 1600x1200 or higher might notice the 230/250 RAMDAC difference. Otherwise, the differences are negligable. The drivers work with all flavors of the card.
