earnings plays..That is because the earning plays were done in 3 parts.. Part I (First 2 weeks in January) was done before any calendar, Part II (middle part of January) was done Friday just about the time I licensed the company to customize the calendar, so I was still missing about 25% of the dates and Part III (last 2 weeks) was done this Sunday with 90% of dates filled in. Now there is still a group of companies that don't have an earnings date themselves and they give you 'tentative' information or they say that they will 'fax' you 24 hours before they wire the results to the public etc..

They are obviously the smaller companies but not necessarily. For example OSI (Outdoor systems) which is one I am thinking about does not have an earnings date at all to give me. We are beginning to see how extremely important earnings dates are especially for 'obscure' or 'underfollowed' companies..

A season ago I would have sufficed to just leave the company and go to another company like SEG or MOT or QLGC, VRTS and forget about the company that turned getting a correct date into a hardship. But now I am more excited about these 'other' companies as I've papertraded and researched them and followed them for an entire season and saw how much and how long they 'moved' on a good report, and of late, began really buying them (some examples are: ZQK,GCTI, COGIF,RMCI,JVLN,GNSSF,CTAS,YUM, CBXC,SALT,GVS,BEBE,CCRD)so stubbornly I will not give up on companies like these, and there are quite a few of them.
