Scott, hot off the press!! >> MOND ANNOUNCES CLOSING OF TRAILMOBILE AGREEMENT AND NEW EXECUTIVE APPOINTMENTS TORONTO, ON-- Mond Industries Inc. announced today that the agreement previously announced in which Trailmobile Corporation would acquire a majority equity interest in Mond Industries has been completed. The Trailmobile/Mond partnership has resulted in the creation of North America's third largest trailer manufacturer. The Company also announced the appointment of several new officers. Edward Wanandi has been appointed Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Wanandi is also Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Trailmobile Corporation. Pat DiLillo will remain as President of Mond Industries. Mr.DiLillo, formerly the majority Mond shareholder, currently owns approximately 7% of the outstanding shares of Mond Industries. He is committed to maintaining a pivotal role as the Canadian-based trailer manufacturer grows and integrates its manufacturing and marketing efforts with Trailmobile. Denis Arsenault has been appointed secretary-Treasurer. Mr. Arsenault will continue as Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Mond. Thomas E. Wiseman has been appointed Vice President, Operations. J.P. Nieszel has been appointed Vice Chairman. Since October 1997, Mr. Nieszel has been President of Trailmobile Trailer LLC, which is responsible for the sales and manufacturing of Trailmobile truck trailers. Mond manufactures standard and customized trailers, dry freight vans, refrigerated and heated vans. It also manufactures intermodal containers for the truck/rail transportation sector.
