What did S & P Outlook have to say about RDC and ESV in the Fall of 1997 when the stock were 3X their current price? Probably that they were great stocks with target prices of $50.00?

I only purchased 200 shares which is about 7 percent of my non-mutual fund portfolio. My investment horizon for this stock is one to two years, maybe three.

Do you expect this stock to fall even if the oil sector has a mild recovery, say $17/barrel of oil? If investors should not expect a double or triple in the price over two years under a recovering oil sector, then I will consider selling it.

Does anyone have comments about the upside potential of ESV under various degrees of an oil sector recovery? Any comments would be appreciated.

Ram, Thanks for the information.

WHERE ARE YOU OBTAINING YOUR INFORMATION REGARDING SIGNIFICANT INSIDER BUYING OF ESV? THE ONLY LARGE PURCHASE, 3 INSIDERS, OCCURRED IN AUGUST 98, ONE BUY AND SELL IN SEPT. AND ANOTHER SELL IN NOV. SINCE THEN, NO INSIDERS ARE PURCHASING THE STOCK. IF THEY WERE SO HOT ON THEIR COMPANY, YOU WOULD SEE A LOT MORE BUYING!
