<<<Have you been watching the internet stock EXDS? How much more correcting do you see with the nets? TIA,

bp,

Yes, I like EXDS...nice small float, and I think its undiscovered yet by the internet crowd. I watch it closely... As the need for expansion of storage rises so will EXDS' business. And everyday you have the exponential expansion of storage needed for all these new web sites.

I think LCOS already stores the majority of its content on EXDS storage devices. (read that about 4-5 months ago somewhere)

As for the correction on the sector, I dont know... if I did I would be on a beach on a small Carribean island with 4 blondes ;)
(well that is still a few years off)

But seriously, the correction might already be over.. it all depends when the individual investors deem "now is the time to jump back in internet stocks in force"... most of them (aside from AOL) are moved by individuals, hedge funds, etc ... not the big institutions. (mutual funds, etc)

I see a rally sometime within 3 weeks due to YHOO split, (and i believe AMZN has earnings in the near future--1 month or less) but before then it could be 2.5 weeks of down movemenent or the move up could start tommorow. With internet stocks its all about psychology, most are overvalued (fundamentally)

However, the overall market (to me at least) has not looked very healthy the past few weeks... which is a bad sign. You have the strong medical stocks like Bristal Myers and Merck which are splitting next month, yet they are still going down... stocks like MSFT, DELL, have not made great gains... so that to me is sort of unhealthy. I like to see broad movements up, not 1 or 2 sectors. A nice 5-8% correction in the market would be best for the next move up... 10,000 is going to need a lot of momentum on the break through on the NYSE.

Then again the internet stocks sometimes move all on their own and ignore the general market! So in summary "I DONT KNOW!" :) and until I feel more comfortable (up or down) I stick to the blue chip sort of internets (CMGI's etc) rather than the 2nd, 3rd tier ones...
