AR, TAiwan is tapped out? Au contraire. Samsung is still increasing production rapidly. NEC is dirt poor? They find more cash in their sofa cushions than MU has earned in the last 5 years. <G> Hyundai and Lucky Goldstar are indeed limping, but the combo will outproduce MU by about 60%. Mitsubishi, where could they find money to expand? Or Toshiba? Let me go turn on my tv and try to get the answer. And there it is, right below the screen. All those tvs being wheeled out of Best Buy seem to have the names of DRAM producers on them. <G> Oki may drop out, but they have a tiny market share now.

Actually, MU's most vicious competitor this year may be MU. They are going to expand capacity dramatically, if they can ever correct their production problems, and they will have to sell most of it into a weak pc market.

If DRAM ever gets to breakeven, you will see competition from the Moon. BTW, I wonder when Lowry's non-compete clause expires. <G>
