I don't think it really matters because sooner or later these guys are going to figure out that the IMF is not forking over any more money until they show some willingness to toe the line- I personally believe that the float and seeing the devaluation has put some sense into their heads, I think these guys fear the return of rampant inflation more than they wll admit to but we will see in due course.

Guys, I gotta tell you, life in Brazil is important to me, I want everything to work out for everyone involved down there. However, at this point, after the last year and a half I have to take the selfish approach that what's most important is the stock prices going up. That's what I got into this for.

I see the potential once again for a benefit of the doubt factor. I think this factor may be high if they get through these reforms without a hitch. Based on their cutting the real lose, maybe they're finally getting the message. I think that as long as the appearance is they are doing the right things from here on out, fundamentals may come back into play...especially as earnings clearly start showing how truly undervalued some of these companies are.

We shall see.
