Next thing you know they'll be pulling out some god-damn diamonds, then where will we be?

-NASDAQ is closed today so we'll have to see the response there tomorrow.

I couldn't find out how much cash the company has. But it looks like they have some time to make the payments (see below) and maybe these results will allow them to continue with the recently postponed $2.3 million financing.

Under the terms of the revised agreement, Silver Standard will enter into an option agreement with Black
Hawk to earn a 50 per cent interest in Black Hawk's interest. Silver Standard will acquire its project
interest through cash payments of $1.54-million (U.S.) to Black Hawk and exploration expenditures of
$4.5-million (U.S.) by Dec. 31, 2001, extendable to 2002 under certain conditions.

<Not much happening so far on Nasdaq.>

Gord; US markets are closed for the MLK holiday, I'm sure there will be a "pop" tomorrow just to catch up with the canadian issue.

<< Don't you just hate it when you get all that gold in there poluting the purity of your silver? >>

Nobody can beat First Silver Reserve at this game...they are the only pure silver producer...and profitable now!

<<How deep are Silver Standards pockets anyone? Have they got the cash to pony up for their share of the mine? >>

No problemo there....they have $$ even if their pockets are not as deep as PAA. But SSO management has a lot of good friends.
