Coby, Prejudice would be comic if it wasn't so serious. New Orleans used to have several gradations of color and there were clubs where they held a brown paper bag against a person's skin to see if they were allowed to join. Seriously. Of course, you are from there, so I don't have to tell you. Of course, we all know of folks called half-breeds and treated like outcasts by both groups due to native American blood mixed with white or black. In Africa, they used to be prejudiced against African-Americans as they considered them descendants of the tribes they defeated in war and, ergo, were superior to them. I doubt if Prejudice will ever disappear because it is easy. Instead of being cut off in traffic by some moron who drives recklessly, many just see that it is as some racial/gender/age bit, not an individual's stupidity. MB
