Burke says Novell's (NOVL) management has refocused the business and turned the it around with the successful launch of a new product called Netware 5. "They've re got a really intense focus on how to grow this business and take advantage of some of the problems created by the Internet, and that is security, maximization of bandwidth and issues like that."

I found this post from NOVL's Raging Bull site. Has anyone seen this upgrade from Dow Jones or Bloomberg wires? This may have be the reason for strong NOVL pop going into Thursday and Friday's trading last week. TIA, QuadK

<<Novell was upgraded last week from a buy to a strong buy by Pershing (DLJ). That, and if you are into TA, its charts looks great, like it's on a real uptrend. Also, Zacks rates it as a strong buy. >>
