My solution is great. Get your wife to tell you that the basement needs to be finished because the house is getting too small.

Then do it yourself and keep a laptop hidden in the mess.

A job like that could take forever if you do it alone...

I tried that once but I got caught. I know very little about computers and I have an external modem with no button to quiet it down. Any idea how I can turn the noisy thing down?
