Tech2000, Ha !!! All the guns are now pointing at me My point was if you tended to use old method , i.e PE ...etc to judge the hi tech stock, and you are over 50s ( you = the poster who I response to ) , then you should not be in the High Tech stocks. I did not mean anyone who is over 50s should not be in the hi tech stocks, I just specified the one I was responding to, but I did not realize that people nowadays are so sensitive about their ages. Why I choose 50s and over, well if you look at Bill Gates's age , then you will know. The modern high Tech industry started in the 80s, so if you started your career after getting your BS in 1980, you are now about 40. As to me, I have forgotten my age for a long time. Age is not the only thing by which you judge people. As today's top business , icrosoft is to report big earning tomorrow, and it is broadcasted over and over again on the radio. So, tomorrow , you will see. The oversea market was up today. If I were you, well, I will just forget the movement of Microsoft for this week, because I know where it will go , and it is just a matter of "TIME". If Microsoft bought back its stock at $105, it did not mean Microsoft will not buy back its own stock at $170, you probably still remember Microsoft bought back its stock at $60. As the earning continues to grow, the price of stock will look like even cheaper. Again Rome is not built in one day, and your wealth is not either.
