I got into IMAX last August @ $22.

I don't get CNBC but I can confirm what you heard as correct regarding their expansion plans.
I'm in Fresno and the newest shopping center here opened up an Edwards 21 screen theater complex. And IMAX has announced they are building an adjoining theater according to the property owners of the shopping center.
Wish I had the $ to buy a 1000 shares but my money tree got hit by the recent valley freeze.
The way I see it, IMAX has a marketing niche w/o any competition. It can't get any better than that. Plus a growing library of films that can be shown in perpetuity w/o the high paid actors, advertising, royalties, Hollywood accounting practices etc. They've got a brand name that is growing worldwide.
Good Luck to all of us.
