A referral request is a request for you to identify the prior web site that you came from. Today I got an email about the newest update, which now allows even more flexibility in what to block. It also now prevents your browser from revealing your email address. Another must have feature! It also now prevents a web site from seeing what browser or operating system you are using to protect against targeted attacks, and has specific protection against Back Orifice, NetBus, and other vandal programs, and permits selective blocking of ActiveX and Java applets to guard against other hacker programs. For $30 it strikes me as a steal, though I have to admit I haven't paid yet. I surely will before my 30 days expires. I'm glad to know that the company has a good reputation, but the product speaks for itself. EDIT - I note that you have atguard now. You can look at the logs to see all the stuff it blocks. I will get version 3 later tonight. Carl
