Steve, is it possible for you to generalize on what would be reasonable grounds for a customer to "dispute a trade." For instance I placed a market order for 1,000 shares of Sharper Image. I was filled as follows: 200 at 16, 200 at 17, 600 at 17 1/2. This was fast market conditions. How does a customer know whether they just took a beating or that's about as good as you could have done under the circumstances. I ask this since most of us are not really knowledgeable about what is taking place as ours and many other orders are hitting a market makers screen on one of these CNBC fire drills where Joe Kernan mentions a stock and god knows how many of us throw in a fast order looking to make a quick buck. Would Yammer have been able to do anything different to improve the initial fill as it's happening? I am currently using Web Street Securities who steers their trades.
