Gerald,
My point is that Microsoft management doesn't like it when the
stock runs way ahead of companies business. Lot of wall street
firms know this. At the flip of a second, the price can start
going down when big money trims holdings.

Remember the decline from 119 to 88 from July 98 to Sept 98?
Remember the decline from 99 to 84 from April 98 to May 98?

Both of those months (July, April) had same price pattern and
vlautions as it is in Jan99.

My point is cautio is advised. My way of being cautious is
turning to cash. That is why I unloaded last week
and will do so for the retirement tomorrow.

Call me conservative. But I am willing to take the profits
When I feel risk is way too high
