The news organizations have a saying:

If it bleeds it leads!

I wonder if CNN would have a news special to report that the Y2K issue will NOT be a major problem.

Ever notice that the news broadcasters seem to get more exited IF the hurricane is heading towards land and almost seem disappointed if it veers off to sea?

<<Good news has no place on these threads. Only doom and gloom sells here.>>

Cheeky, I have enjoyed many of your posts as well as your sense of humor (likely because it matches mine! <ggg>) but it seems like you throw out that line I've copied above nearly every time someone disagrees with you. There's lots of *good* news posted on this and the other Y2K threads. Your perspective is as welcome, in my book, as anyone else's. But I think that should go around full circle. If you have good news about Y2K, please post it; the world needs more good news and it will be welcomed with open arms, at least by me. Regards. ...Tim
