Shoot,
Here's a quick little update on my search for a new online broker:

Item 1.) I read how you used the Executioner at one point and then (correct me if I'm wrong on this) came to see that there were more fees involved for trades than first appeared. The Executioner web page and fees looked awesome to me, so I'm glad I read your post. I'll pass on the Executioner for now and, in so doing, I assume I'll save myself from the troubles you had.

Item 2.) Got an email from RML Trading. They are not registed to do business in my state (Virginia). A sign of a real start-up. Not too good.

Item 3.) I like Polar Trader and have gotten wonderful feedback from them on my questions. I get a great vibe on their customer service. But their web site is slooow, their SI thread is dead, I don't see a lot of people using them and, in general, all of this scares me away.

Item 4.) The finalist so far are MB Trader, AB Watley and CyberBroker. The first two use RealTick III and the last uses CyberTrader. The first two are extremely well-respected for their service and seem far more established than CyberBroker. Still, I understand that the CyberTrader interface is awesome and super fun. I like that! Further, CyberBroker fees appear to me much lower than the other two.

I will probably do a few more days research on this but CyberBroker (with CyberTrader) is faring very well. And, what the heck! If it's a bust, I move to one of the other two and chalk it up to experience...

Ciao,
Chris
