Battery Charging Revolution Cell Phone ACTivator Debuts at Showcase '99 (PR Newswire, 4:48 PM)

<<excerpt>>NORCROSS, Ga., Jan. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Advanced Charger Technology, Inc. (ACT) developer of the world's fastest battery charger, gave David Coursey's Showcase '99 visitors a first look at its revolutionary Cellular ACTivator. Driven by ACT's patented Battery Operating System(TM) (BOS) technology, the fast-charging ACTivator eliminates traditional charging problems, provides dependable talk time and extends battery life. Undependable batteries have long been the Achilles' Heel of wireless service, causing customer dissatisfaction and high churn rates. The user-friendly ACTivator solves battery problems and increases usage.

ACTive BOS technology enables batteries to charge faster, achieve higher capacity between charges and last up to three times longer than those used with traditional chargers. Lithium Ion batteries can be charged from flat to 100% capacity in 60-75 minutes; Nickel Cadmium in 30 minutes; and Nickel Metal Hydride in 60 minutes with minimum rise in temperature.
