Online info on Canadian stocks is a lot harder to find.

In fact, there's a thread devoted to trying to come up with stuff approaching the wealth of information we can get on US stocks. ATY isn't too bad, because it trades on NASDAQ too. The only reason I trade Canadian is that our tax shelter rules force us to be 80% Canadian. What a good break I got buying ATY (after getting hosed on a few others I really shouldn't have dabbled in).

I can get news items on any Canadian stock if anyone's interested in a particular issue. But analyst's recommendations, segment analysis, PE prediction and the like are hard to come by online.

I do get unsolicited offerings on lots of Canadian stocks, but I mostly ignore them. That said, I think the resource sector and Canadian stocks in general, are ready for a run. I'm definitely on the lookout....

Triffin & Nicole & Canuck: I agree as well. My DD thus far on MCF.TO is turning up little other than news events. Can we get some input from our objective Northern neighbors on this.

Thanks

J

I am ready to help as much as I can but I am not yet an expert!
My experience is not large enough to allow me to trade on my own I still need coaching.
I will bring any information that I can get on" interesting" Canadian stocks.
