I think you missed ZP's and my context, Sean. Of course you are right that any installable FS under dos would be recognized under Drive Image. But the discussion with Clarence is not pertaining to such other file systems, or a network setup: it is simply the choice between local NTFS and FAT. And given that choice, NTFS isn't an option with DI (at least not yet anyway.) As we've discussed, I agree with your caution RE keeping removables for backup. Worth repeating.
