It appears that some of the data such as volume comes from last day of trading on the exchange. As you know, there is no way that many shares of Yahoo traded today when the main markets are closed. Trading in the main markets are closed but the secondary markets such as Instinet can be open. I can't trade on Instinet through Fidelity but from past experience, I believe Fidelity reports these trades accurately. The Volume, Bid and Ask? that is reported may be left over from the last full trading day? The date I saw this afternoon on the trades on Yahoo,ATHM, and CMGI were Jan 18th.

I just did a new quote on ATHM and CMGI. The quote was dated Jan 15th not the 18th as earlier today. I have just called Fidelity and they said what I saw previously ( $121 ) was a correct instinet price for CMGI. According to my quote log @1244:43 today Bid 105 7/16 Ask 99 3/4 Last trade 121. The Fidelity rep also said it was a computer glitch that they did not think they were reporting it. Someone mentioned it on the ATHM thread that they ask Fidelity about it (and then they fixed it and I can't get instinet trading info anymore) <:{ Anyway the rep said the info I saw was correct. So CMGI should be off to a nice start tomorrow.

Now I will have to find another place to look for instinet quotes I did not see this on Daytek
