ROFLMAO--Are you kidding or what? The one area of the world where democracy can't get a foothold is Asia. Russia, Eastern Europe, even the 3rd world countries south of the Rio Grande can overthrow the Commies. But mainland China? No friggin way.

Peasant revolt? Fat chance. Mao comes, Mao goes, Chou and Deng come and go, but that Marxist collective philosophy is still there. Fidel will be playing cigar games with Monica before the CHICOMMs are overthrown.

C. Lawrence Perkins,

Well done tracking down the news articles regarding China.

Now, you mentioned the lights are going out in China--this is devastating! My guess is that you are trying to imply from your being a bearer of bad tidings that starting tomorrow there will be no more retail shopping outlets for people to shop in.

HHHMMmm???? That's a pretty big country for everyone to stop shopping cold turkey--might just be the ideal time for Mr. Tilton to consider expansion plans for the Shopping Mall--looks like once the civil unrest is under control people will be looking for a few malls to do some shopping? JMO!

Sounds pretty scary to me--I think you should sell your shares--assuming of course you are a shareholder? Or were you just trying to save us from ourselves?

My computer broke down earlier to-day--I guess that is the end of the
computer and internet age!

Why are there always people out there that appearto enjoy the doom and gloom side of things! Remember the days when people thought that a positive attitude was a good thing! Where did those days go?

Well, I hope the lights come back on soon!

Best Regards,

Wayne J.
