AOL investors - be careful tomorrow.

Brazil just cranked up the interest rate by 13% to an incredible 41% from 29%. (And you thought you were paying alot for that car loan) Here's the link. It's not a good deal.

To follow that up, here's a quote from today's Briefing.Com in the tech stock area. Also Globex futures have backed off their highs and Japan is ever so slightly in the red now at -26. They were up about +75 at one point in time. This thing with Brazil could be a fly in the ointment. Worth watching anyway.

Brazil's amazing rally on news its Government decided to free float the real will prove short-lived... Country faces a boat load of problems and a weak currency isn't going help... We doubt very much that the adverse impact of Brazil's devaluation on the markets is over - despite Friday's options related snap back rally.

With so much on the market's plate the one certainty is that volatility will remain high... Especially given current valuations and
the deteriorating relative strength of the high-flying internet group... In the end, we look for the bias to remain to the downside...
