Came home this evening to a whole slew of new subscriptions.. So I will use this opportunity to answer some FAQ's I've gotten via e-mail..

1. That calendar on the newsletter website is a general calendar with 768 companies that are reporting earnings in the next 4 weeks.. It is not the customized calendar that I was referring to.. We will have a customized calendar with all our stock picks linking to technical analysis, charts, news, option quotes etc... Unfortunately I am bound by other companies and their own schedules. We are working with Wall Street City and/or Market Watch for a link to their charts.. The calendar company still has NOT customized the calendar so I put the dates on the left hand margin of the newsletters in a little table.

2. When you log on you must use your user name and password. They are case sensitive.. if you put in a capital letter in either the user name or password you must use a capital letter to gain access to the market gems menu.

3. Since it is the 'height' of earnings season a good deal of the plays in the next 2 weeks will be earnings related and the watch lists and even my time on "Silicon Investor" will focus on earnings. This is important because whether or not the market is up or down earnings plays have a life source of their own that is not dependent on an up or down market.

4. We DO NOT usually discuss the earnings plays or watch list plays on Silicon Investor for obvious reasons. We can discuss them after they have come into play and the earnings were reported. But we have our own plays there that are discussed and there will always be alternative plays on SI..

5. Questions relating to the stocks on the lists will be answered as priority mail.. Please make reference in the "subject" area of the e-mail if you are subscriber and if the question is related to a stock or more importantly a problem logging on.. We usually answer within minutes unless we are asleep. (i.e. I came home at 2:00 last night and got an order from NAPAL.. 5 minutes later he could not get in and I explained about 'case sensitivity'.. and got the gentleman in easily. Usually however we can't answer at that time of night)...

6.. Anyone needing 'emergency' access.. I will send you a .txt file of the watch list and newsletter to tide you over until we figured out the log on problems.. Fortunately we get about 2-3 of those a day out of close to 950 subscribers so that's a good average..

7.. Because of the large amount of subscribers we don't see any further price rises in the forseeable future although we will be providing more and more services.
