>>In actuality stock leader has a point. Trading systems can't keep up with casino-like wagering activity. The bottleneck is not E-Trade specific, but, related market makers, exchanges, etc..<< I do not think that is true. ETrade has consistantly misled their new and potential customers to such an extent as to imply their are morons and stupid. Saying you make the money and not yoru broker with their on line ads would suggest that you get better executions and access than the regular brokers, This is not true. In fills or in executions. They keep saying their system can handle 10 times the amount of users that actually use it, This is not true as their system consistantly crash, and also crashes your own system. Some of us have for over an year kept telling them they need to fix their systems and not just keep adding users. Instead they keep advertsing for more and more users without the capability in manpower or system processing capability. I really want to see them come after me for slader, then I can go after them for negligance. >>I suppose I'm one of E-Trade's more patient clients, not in and out at breakneck speeds. Perhaps that's why I've never had any problems with their service.TG<< This is not what I am talking about at all. I was so frusterated using their service that I would rather just let all my money just ride what ever happens rather than me trying to get a hold of someone to transfer it out. I work full time and as such dont have the time to sit in front of a computer to keep pressing the keys. But half the times I have tried to make a trade I was unable to do so. But I suppose all those folks in 87 learnt a hard lesson, So will the rest of the people one of these days who use marginal services like ETrade.
