OT there is nothing wrong with presenting ideas rhetorically.

What can I do except agree?

MeDroogies, rhetorical addresses are one thing, but without decent analysis opinions presented are a bit empty. You presented opinions without anything to back them up. When I gave you the correct info on emachines and their $500 machines for instance you casually replied that you didn't think it would go anywhere. Your one of the few people who doesn't thing $399 internet ready machines selling on shelves at the major retailers alongside more expensive machines won't have an impact. If emachines does come out with a heavily styled machine similar to the iMac at $499 this spring it will sit on the shelves next to the iMac at some of the same retailers Apple uses. I'd say an impact will likely occur.

Your SGI comment would be interesting if you presented some serious ideas, but your main point seems to be Apple is a cool company with a good brand so that would be a good combination. Rich
