Here is perhaps an interesting tidbit for you the credit card company put buyer...

Capital One Q4 Shr $1.04 Vs $0.86
(This is a headline-only alert, although it will likely be followed by an article soon)

biz.yahoo.com

Capital One Reaffirms $5.10 Eps Target For 1999
(This is a headline-only alert, although it will likely be followed by an article soon)

biz.yahoo.com

The interesting thing to me was that the first article had a banner for a First Usa (BankOne) Yahoo card and the second one had a banner for a First Usa e.card. Both had 3.9% teaser rates. Perhaps you will get different banners if you click the links.

AtHome is going to buy Excite today. I guess that means I should buy the hell out of every Internet stock today at the open. I'm going to put in my blind market open buys now on E-Schwab!

The fact that Brazil rose and not drop interest rates yesterday doesn't mean a thing to me. All that matters are Internet stocks, because the Internet, and not South America's economic stability, is the future!
