Hard to say what MSFT will do tomorrow. I actually think we will end the day lower although intra-day it will trade higher. Either way I will make money in the short term. I think MSFT is going to have blow out numbers after the Bell and we can look forward to about $10 to the upside Wednesday. I will pick up Feb $150 calls tomorrow and sell them Wed.

The following are relevant posts ref earnings and cash flow from the past on this thread.

Tech2000, My statement was any proceeds from transactions. Naturally, Accounts Receivable would be involved if there were terms on payment. The correct accounting would be Credit Unearned Revenue, Debit Accounts Receivable. When cash is paid, the entry would be a Debit to Cash, Credit the Receivable. Any cost associated with the transaction would require debiting the Unearned Revenue account and crediting an inventory or other appropriate Asset Account.

My response was geared to those thinking that the Unearned Revenue account somehow was incorrectly viewed as a hidden cash account. It had been viewed that way by some in the past.

Bob
