While I would, of course, like to see this sort of infusion of capital into ECD, it does cause me to remember that the company has had that sort of money flowing in on other occasions and here we are one, two, three decades later from joint ventures with huge partners with no sustaining product line and a very lousy income situation. Another internal voice argues that, before ECD lurches off in yet another direction full of fantastic possibilities, it would be terrific to "close the deal" along one of the dimensions we're already traveling on.

When Tyler left Micron I think all options about being in business together left with him. TOO MUCH BAD BLOOD. Tyler is a technician with respect in MANY companies. I believe there are a lot in line to talk other than Micron. Steve Appleton's ego would prevent ANY working with Tyler; if it was not so Tyler would still be there. I saw the daily fighting first hand.
