I personally do prefer CDs for backup - ($ 1.50 for 650 MB can't be beat, and the shelf life is 100 years compared to 10 to 30 years for cartridges). I'm not alone - there is a comparison in the latest Macworld and they also prefer CDs over the Jaz drive..and as I mentioned before, the graphic/publish world will inrease its CD R consumption this year, whereas zips and hard drives will be on the decline, just hard facts from Publish magazine..
still, IOM will sell, mostly to the average computer user though, and of course, the digital camera combined with the click will (hopefully) take off...
