The longer you are in the market , the more you tend to care these PEs. If you are in your 50s and 60s( sorry , I am talking about age again, pls do not point your guns at me), your mind probably will be set up by the trading patterns of these
stocks in the traditional industries, KO, GE, MRK ...etc, and you probably tend to apply these old models to the stock in today's Hi Tech stocks . Tomorrow, these what so called Hi Tech will be low Tech. Just like PCs , it is almost being counted as low Tech
industry in my directory, and pretty soon PE will dominate the thinking about these stocks again. Thirty years ago, the petrochemical industry was also counted as Hi Tech industry by people, and what are they today ? So, what is hi tech stocks ? It is
the stocks of companies whose business is in a high growing market.
