Nice earnings news!! >Kane, can you explain how to get 4 Gig from 32 bit? OK Say I have 2 bits : I access 4 distinct memory locations 00,01,10,11 Move up to 3 bits : I get 8 locations 000, 001... You get the picture... Basically, from n bits you get address 2 to the power of n distinct memory locations. Assuming that you have a 32 bit address bus you can address 4Gig of locations. With respect to this dual-port it requires a 15 bit address bus, whereas your 32x32 matrix only needs 10 bits. Take care...
